How to Setup a Knowledge Stack and Why it Matters for AI Agents

If you want your AI agents on UFOstart to create truly personalized content: blog posts, LinkedIn updates, tweets, press releases, newsletters, they need the right foundation.

You need to give them the right knowledge to work with.

That’s exactly what a Knowledge Stack is for.

📚 What’s a Knowledge Stack?

A Knowledge Stack is where you upload important documents so your AI agents can pull from them while creating content.

Think of it as your AI memory bank.

You can add information about your company, your products but you can also upload industry reports, whitepapers, research papers or campaign material you want the AI to use or repurpose.

Whenever you select a Knowledge Stack in the chat, the agent uses it to understand your brand better and create more relevant, accurate and aligned outputs.

Without a Knowledge Stack, the agent is guessing based on general knowledge. With a Knowledge Stack, it knows your world.

📂 What Kind of Documents Should You Upload?

You can upload anything in PDF format (up to 100MB per file) that gives helpful context. Here are great examples:

For company-specific context:

  • Pitch decks: Introduce your mission, product, team, and vision.
  • Marketing strategies: Explain your target audience, key channels, and messaging.
  • Product briefs: Showcase your features, benefits, and positioning clearly.
  • Internal memos: Share strategic goals, new initiatives, or competitive insights.
  • Brand guidelines: Define your tone, style, and visual identity.

For industry or topic-specific context:

  • Industry reports: Arm the agent with deep insights from your market.
  • Whitepapers: Supply thought leadership to inspire posts, blogs, or summaries.
  • Research studies: Use fresh data points to add credibility to content.
  • Trend analyses: Help the AI weave current trends into your messaging.
  • Market overviews: Give a broad view of industry shifts or opportunities.
  • Case studies: Highlight real-world success stories that can be turned into social posts or newsletters.

Tip: Anything you would give a new team member (or an external writer) to help them produce good content faster, upload it here.
